Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios denied rumors that NFL players, who travel the country for games, have different women waiting for them in every city they visit.
In a teaser for his girlfriend Alix Earle’s Hot Mess podcast this week, the influencer asked him directly whether professional athletes ‘have girls in different cities.’
‘No,’ he responded in the video posted Thursday.
‘Not in season,’ he added, before clarifying, ‘Not at all.’
Fans were quick to suggest the wide receiver was ‘covering’ for his pals in the league.
‘Braxton is being loyal to the homies but that is the most false statement,’ one person commented under the Instagram post.
‘Braxton covering for the homies,’ another chimed in.
A third wrote, ‘Braxton LYING thru his teeth w that one im sorry.’
Someone else echoed the sentiment, ‘braxton loyal to the boys,’ while a fifth fan added, ‘You could see him make the decision to protect his boys.’
The 28-year-old athlete started dating the social media sensation after his split from Olivia Culpo’s younger sister Sophia.
They met in early 2023, but didn’t confirm their casual romance until that June.
In the wake of rampant fan speculation about possible infidelity, Earle spoke out on her podcast to deny that Berrios cheated on the brunette beauty with her.
‘Unless you were dating in March, I did not home-wreck your relationship,’ she said bluntly, while addressing Sophia directly.
The couple eventually made their relationship official last November.
In the months since, they haven’t been shy about packing on the PDA and gushing over each other in interviews.
They also jetted to Europe for the summer, where they were seen relaxing on the beach in Italy before attending a star-studded wedding in the South of France.
