Terry Bradshaw’s far-out take about Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was quickly shut down by his co-hosts.
During Fox’s pregame show ahead of the Dolphins-Packers clash on Thursday, Bradshaw declared Tagovailoa isn’t “bothered” by the snowy weather conditions at Lambeau Field, where the temperature was the mid 20s.
Statically, the Hawaii-born quarterback has a history of poor play in colder temperatures.
“Mike McDaniels has got his quarterback back,” Bradshaw, 76, said. “Folks, you’re in for a treat tonight because the weather doesn’t bother Tua. This is going to be a fun game to watch.”
Bradshaw’s co-hosts were in disbelief as Fox put up a graphic showing Tagovailoa’s stats, which read he is 1-7 in games played in 50 degree temperatures or below.
“The weather obviously bothers the man,” Michael Strahan said.
“Think positive, Mike, positive!” Bradshaw replied before his co-hosts laughed.
The internet had a field day with the moment.
“What games is Bradshaw watching?” one person wrote on X.
Some mentioned that the veteran broadcaster is notorious for his other outlandish takes.
The Packers went on to beat the Dolphins, 30-17, while battling mid-20 degree temperatures on Thanksgiving night in Green Bay, Wis.
Tagovailoa finished with 365 passing yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions (114.2 passer rating).
Miami dropped to 5-7 on the season and is in serious jeopardy of missing the playoffs.
“I feel like we let the elements control the way we played,” Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks told reporters after the game.
